Our first venue profile features a staple of the Williamsburg live music scene, perennial favorite Baby’s All Right.

Along with highlighting some of our favorite artists and ones we think you should have on your radar, as well as shows we think are 100% worth every second of your time, we will also be spending some our time guiding you through some of our most frequented (and favorite) venues in the New York City area.

For our first crack at this new series, we thought we would take a moment and shine the spotlight at our good friends over at Baby’s All Right. And boy, it is certainly all right.

Baby’s is a venue that quite literally brings people of all walks of life together. With wide ranging shows from D.R.A.M., to DIIV, to nights of debauchery with Hot Chip, this magical bar + restaurant turns venue is on our list of one of our most favorite places in Brooklyn.

Baby’s is a place that is completely liberal with its bookings. This is extremely positive for many reasons.

  1. It undermines the pretense that sometimes gets in the way of proper shows (found especially frequent in New York City)
  2. The staff are some of the most friendly and chill people we have ever met, and
  3. It welcomes literally every single person that walks through that door.

Baby’s is a place you can hang with your friends when you just need a beer (and maybe some delicious chicken sandies), a place you can meet someone who will change your life and career direction forever to come, a heavenly haven of finding new bands as well as an intimate space to cherish old ones. And hey, they even cater to our beloved Brooklyn brunching crowds. Need a hefty Bloody Mary? They’ve got a bar for that.

Head on over to the Jukely app to see what shows are happening there, and if nothing peaks your particular interest (which we highly doubt will happen), go for the vibe! It’ll only be positive experiences.
