We’ve spent some time extolling the joys of winter concerts and telling you how you can stay warm when you’re going out.
In case you haven’t gotten the message yet, here’s another reason you should venture out: SOUP NYC and Bushwick A/V are brining you The Snow Ball on January 19th.
This is no mere winter concert either, this is a 16-hour winter extravaganza across two stages, one indoors and one outdoor, with a lineup of at least 13 artists and the promise of more to be added in the coming days, including a surprise after hours guest from Detroit.
The lineup is headlined by Chicago house legend Derrick Carter and stalwart Dirtybird producer J.Phlip taking the stages along with Love & Logic, Devon James, Chris Patrick, Gio Gulez, Myroslaw Bytz, Renegade Masters, Guevara, MONIKKR, Roland & Brother Rich, DJ Michael Trotter, and Robbie Lumpkin. If that’s not something you can dance and groove the night away to, I don’t know what will satisfy you.
In a classic magical winter twist, this ball’s location is currently a secret. All we know right now is it’s somewhere in Brooklyn. You’ll have to RSVP before you get to find out.
No matter where it is though, here is your definitive proof that winter is where concert magic happens. So come on out, the weather is fine.
