On Thursday, April 6th multi-instrumentalist and producer Gryffin, a.k.a. Dan Griffith, will be performing at The Observatory in Santa Ana. Trust us when we say, you do not want to miss out!
Over the course of the last few years, Gryffin has made quite a name for himself, from releasing consecutively charting hits on Hype Machine to racking up well over 40 million plays on Spotify.
On average, Gryffin has over 5 million Spotify listeners a month, which places him 309th in the world. To say that he has had a successful career thus far is an understatement.
Some of his most notable remixes include: Tove Lo‘s “Talking Body“, Maroon 5‘s “Animals“, Years and Years‘ “Desire“, CHVRCHES‘ “Clearest Blue“, Jack Garratt‘s “Surprise Yourself” and recently Snakehips and MØ‘s “Don’t Leave“.
Last year was a year of many firsts for Gryffin as he released his official single, “Heading Home” featuring vocalist Josef Salvat, accompanied by a live tour, which he sold out entirely.
What sets Gryffin a part from other producer’s is his ability to perform live on stage. He doesn’t shy away from playing the guitar or keyboard, in fact this element has become a staple of his live show.
Gryffin gained a second wind of success when he released “Whole Heart” featuring Bipolar Sunshine. An upbeat electro-pop song, it inspires listeners to spread love and push for change.
This year, the rising star’s hard work has finally come to fruition as he’ll be performing at festivals like Coachella, Governors Ball, Middlelands, Hangout Music Festival and Firefly Music Festival.
To top it all off, he just released “Feel Good”, a unique collaboration with producer and DJ Illenium and vocalist Daya. Give it a listen below.
Gryffin’s talents are undeniable and if his past is an indicator of what to expect in the future then one can be sure it’ll be nothing short of amazing.
