“Festival” usually gets grouped with one genre of music: dance music. We’ve tried to broaden your perspective of the term, including bluegrass festivals and reggae festivals. Why limit the festival to any single genre?

Hip-hop lovers, it’s time we gave you something to be excited about. Hip-hop is coming to take over the Bay Area and Los Angeles this fall and winter respectively.

The infamous three day long Miami based hip-hop event Rolling Loud Festival has announced its plans to take both coasts this year—and with less than three months notice. Rolling Loud has sold out in Miami, their home base, the last three years. This year’s lineup was packed with huge headliners and underground favorites, including Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, and more.

The festival will take place internationally in 2018, but for the remainder of 2017, they plan to hold events in San Francisco in October and Los Angeles in December. They haven’t yet announced the headliners for the respective cities, but they promise it will hold up to the impeccable standard they have set in Miami.

You can stay up to date on the lineup announcements and more through their website here.
