Starting February 1st, the locally renowned venue and barbecue joint Globe Hall will be run by Denver promoter veteran, Scott Campbell.
Previously, He’s been known for booking shows with AEG Live Rocky Mountains, at venues like the Ogden and the Bluebird Theater. He is most well known for his ownership in Larimer Lounge and Lost Lake – two venues which have been home to many break-out artists.
The bar has been a community staple for over 100 years – starting as a Croatian meeting lodge, transitioning to a live music hall. Globe Hall has known many names: 16 to one Exchange, Golobvich and Slogar Saloon, The Logan Grill, and Sidewinder Tavern.
Campbell has plans to give the venue some slight upgrades, which include stage lighting and updating the sound system. Once these adjustments are made, the 250 capacity room will be a perfect fit for local and touring bands to play the venue.
Theres really nothing better than good music, a beer, and some classic Texan BBQ!
