Dallas owners of Independent Bar and Kitchen have opened a new music venue attached to the back of the Independent Bar and Kitchen named Regal Room in Deep Ellum, TX.
As live music becomes more and more prevalent in small Dallas bars and restaurants, Independent Bar and Kitchen in Deep Ellum will have a brand new venue to stay competitive in the market. The new venue is attached to the IBK, but will be independent and will serve as its own entity.
Moody Fuqua has been brought on to host a no-cover weekly live music nights on Wednesdays, when Regal Room will remain open until 2 AM, later than IBK. Drinks and domestics will cheaper into the late night hours, and there will be a generous selection of bar snacks. According the Dallas Observer, Fuqua wants to “make a place for musicians and service-industry people to hang out with their friends when they usually can’t on the weekend”.
On warmer weekends, the bar will become open air, beckoning new customers in to listen to the new musical stylings of Regal Room. For music fans, locals, and especially the late night crowd, it’s definitely a venue to watch for 2017.
