The collapse of I-85 seriously disrupted a lot of Atlanta residents’ commutes this month, but the dust is settling and the city is still finding ways to get to the party! We’ve rounded up this past month’s highlights here.
Life in Color brought its paint party to the Atlanta Coliseum, where Dada Life and Ghastly partied with a very colorful crowd.
After a fire wrecked part of I-85 last month, three people were arrested in connection to the fire, but officials say the highway will be rebuilt sooner than expected. Street artist Catlanta created some adorable merch with a cat bridging the gap in the broken highway. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated help the homeless.
Speaking of giving back to the community, the Atlanta Music Project is helping today’s youth become inspired by music.
