Miami Music Week is the annual showcase for all things Miami music and it’s one of the events that truly kicks off the year’s big festival season. It takes place mid-March, which seems like a while off yet, but it’s February now and that’s only about six weeks away. MMW is huge and if you want to make the best of your time there, it’s time to start paying attention. Like now.
Case in point, Diskolab has already announced several huge events set for the RC Cola Plant and Spinnin’ Record’s Spinnin’ Hotel series during MMW. The shows include an Above & Beyond show, a pool party, and a label feature for DIM MAK, Steve Aoki’s label. Last year, the lineup at that event included label stalwarts Borgore, Deorro, Keys N Krates, MAKJ, QUIX, and Steve Aoki himself.
There are also other events getting sprinkled out there, from Link Miami Rebels who are bringing Paco Osuna to showcase his record label Mindshake, to a Heldeep vs. Monstercat showdown between the two labels.
The best way to keep up with all the announcements is definitely to stay tuned. We’ll be announcing shows in the coming weeks, and you should also keep up with Miami Music Week’s official website. Pro-tip: Follow your favorite promoters, that’s how these events are usually organized, and work out from there to find venues and artists you want to see. And you might find something new too!
