Did you go out to a show, and now want to recap all the best moments with your friends? Here’s some good go-to crowd pleasers in San Francisco that will help with those post-show blues.

MaMa’s on Washington Square

This spot is only open 8 AM to 3 PM, so late brunchers beware. It also only takes cash or debit cards, and it gets crowded early. But, boy oh boy, if you love sweet breakfasts this place is worth the wait. Raved about dishes include the pancakes, the monte cristo, and french toast samplers.

NoPa isn’t for the greasy hangover brunch. It’s a nicer restaurant and definitely more expensive than Mama’s. If you’re looking for some place to impress vegetarian out-of-towners, this is it. They’re stocked with brunch cocktails out the wazoo and have fancy sausages made with kale and mushroom. Make your friends take you here after your birthday concert. Then make them pay. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is where you go for the greasy brunch. It’s known for the “donut burger” and chicken waffle sandwich, and it was featured several times on Food Network. Brunch is served between 10 AM and 3 PM, and they don’t have a huge cocktail menu, so you won’t get tricked into drinking. Just good, old fashioned eating.

Dottie’s True Blue Cafe

This place usually has a wait between one and two hours. I would recommend eating a light snack before getting there as to avoid becoming hangry. Dottie’s is traditional, true blue diner food. It’s worth the trek into Tenderloin.
