Miami outdoor bars

I was pretty sure it’s almost always summertime in Miami. I was bummed to find out that Miami does, in fact, have bad weather. Like the rain forecast this weekend. Bummer.

What better thing to do when it’s raining then plan out where you’re going to drink when it’s nice out? Nothing, I say. Here’s some outdoor spots you should definitely check out while in Miami.

Broken Shaker Miami

This outdoor drinking space may be in the backyard of Freehand Hostel, but that only adds to its charm and allure. There are ping pong tables, an herb garden, and bocce courts. Stepping outside feels like you’re in a tropical wonderland except there are games, a pool, and cocktails.

Wet Willie’s

Wet Willie's

Does this bar scream ‘I’m a tourist’? Maybe. Does it also offer dozens of flavors of alcoholic slushies enough to make you forget your mother’s real name? YUP. Watch out for the “Call-A-Cab,” their strongest drink.

If Wet Willie’s isn’t your speed, Nikki Beach might be. It’s the bougiest bar on this list. Imagine a brunch beach side with a lot of sand, white cabana beds for rent, and several different flavors of mojitos. That’s Nikki Beach in a nutshell. They also occasionally have music and entertainment and they can be the day party spot on weekends.
