There’s no shortage of openings or shows to go to on the weekends in Dallas. It’s easy to find something to do, especially if you live in Uptown, Downtown, or Deep Ellum. House of Blues Dallas

Many of you may think of House of Blues Dallas as merely a venue, but behind the venue is a great booking team who work tirelessly to bring a wide range and variety of artists for up to 2,500 guests.

Margin Walker Presents

You may remember Margin Walker Presents Dallas from the interview we had with “The Guch.” Margin Walker Presents is not only present in Dallas but throughout Texas, with a flair for booking punk, indie, hip-hop, and electronic music. They are also responsible for huge festivals such as Fun Fun Fun Fest, and always have an eye, and an ear, for small up-and-coming artists to open for huge headliners.

Granada Theater

Unlike other venues in the DFW area (but not on this list) that do bookings through national companies, Granada Theater is a smaller indie theatre that keeps everything local and in-house. “Our booking team books everything by hand via research and outreach,” marketing and artist relations manager Mark Kennedy told Four Over Four. “My marketing team does everything in-house from analytics to programmatic to retargeting, and our venue staff, beloved in Dallas and known as ‘Serenity,’ is truly one-of-a-kind.”

ScoreMore Shows

ScoreMore Shows “started because a group of students realized that the most effective way of making college students feel welcome at events is to throw them. So they began throwing concerts for the students and by the students. Diverse crowds coupled with a fresh outlook on promoting live music allowed the ScoreMore team to quickly make a name for themselves.” The company now books shows in eleven of Texas’ college markets.

Fast Forward Live

While Fast Forward Live is headquartered in Austin, they, like Margin Walker Presents, also do events in Dallas. They’re known for “working tirelessly to deliver the highest quality of talent and production for each show.”

PRIME

Talk about a jack-of-all-trades. PRIME is a record label, management group, content development, social media consultant & management, clothing line, and, on top of all of that, event planning. They may be one of the newest on the scene, but that also means that  they’re right on the cutting edge.
