Norwegian producer Gundelach, born Kai Gundelach, is a budding artist who released his debut self-titled EP in May 2016, which firmly established him as one of Norway’s most intriguing new pop artists.
His debut EP was nominated for Pop Album of the Year at Norway’s Spellemann Awards. He has been praised as a crossover artist, many of his songs featuring effortless falsetto and Nordic-noir, analog-electronic production.
His newest single “Garden,” released today, has been described by Interview Magazine as “a potent combination of smoothly oscillating vocals, deep percussion, and analog synths.” The single is reminiscent of ’80s ballads with refreshingly new twist.
