Adventure Club has dropped their long-awaited debut album, and it’s f@$%ing fire.
Adventure Club caught the attention of prospective electronic music fans five years ago with their genre-bending remixes.
“Brand New“, “Flight Facilities“, “Thrice” and “James Vincent Mcmorrow” are a few that the Canadian duo (hailing from Montreal) have reworked. A now classic, “Maps” by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs received a compelling electro-dub retouch, uniting otherwise separated music enthusiasts and raising the bar for the electronic community.
Since then, Christian Srigley and Leighton James have internationally toured, headlined festivals and released EP – Calling All Heroes in 2013. Their following has watched them quickly rise to success in just a few years.
On Friday, December 2nd, they dropped their first long awaited album Red // Blue. In an ever evolving industry, the duo was able to carryover their signature melodic dubstep sound while branching out to encompass all genres of electronic music.
Each track offers beautifully placed vocals accompanied by distinctive beats that truly reflect their creativity and refined ear. Songs like “Reaction”, featuring Leah Culver, and “Save Me” will transport audiences back to the remixes that made so many fall in love with Adventure Club.
Red//Blue tells an emotional story that transports listeners to a higher state with its stimulating synths of new and old. We look forward to what the future holds for Christian & Leighton.
